Today on the Summer 2014 Plunder of Souls Blog Tour, I conclude my month as Featured Author at Drey’s Library. My final post for Drey is a somewhat lighthearted list of my writerly pet peeves — from mall signings to “reserves against returns,” and a few things in between. While you’re at the site, be sure to sign up for a chance to win a free signed hardcover copy of A PLUNDER OF SOULS, the third Thieftaker novel, which has just been released. You can find the post here; I hope you enjoy it.

Happy Monday, everyone! Today, the Summer 2014 Plunder of Souls Blog Tour visits the journal of fellow author and history geek Beth Bernobich. Beth’s newest novel, The Time Roads, will be out later this year — it’s a great book and I recommend it. For today’s post, Beth asked that I take some time to write about the women in the Thieftaker Chronicles, and so I have written about Kannice Lester, Janna Windcatcher, and, of course, Sephira Pryce. I hope you enjoy the post.
And later this week, I will be hosting a live book launch event at Bitten By Books, the paranormal site that recently gave A Plunder of Souls, the third Thieftaker novel, a five-star review. At the launch event, I will be giving away a $50 Amazon gift card to some lucky fan, so start accumulating your chances to win by RSVPing for the event here. Good luck!

Once again, the Summer 2013 Thieves’ Quarry Blog Tour is at Unusual Historicals, this time for a Q&A, and of course, the THIEVES’ QUARRY giveaway. Leave a comment or ask a question on the post and you’ll be entered to win a signed hardcover copy of the newest book in the Thieftaker Chronicles. So check it out and enjoy! Here’s the link:

The Summer 2013 Thieves’ Quarry Blog Tour has me back at Drey’s Library today, where I am July’s featured author. My post today is about my choice of pre-Revolutionary Boston as the setting for the books of my Thieftaker Chronicles. Drey has been a wonderful host, and I am so grateful to her for welcoming me onto her site. I hope that you enjoy today’s post, as well as the other posts I’ve done for her site, and I hope as well that you will enter the contest to win a Thieftaker t-shirt.

It’s hot, it’s muggy; the full weight of summer seems to have settled over the entire continent. There is no escaping it. Or is there? I will not claim that the Summer 2013 Thieves’ Quarry Blog Tour is a cure for the heat, but it might well be a cure for the Summertime Blues. Today I am back at Drey’s Library, where I am the featured author for July. My post today is about my favorite reads, and it is an overview of some of my favorite books in speculative fiction. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope that while you’re visiting the site, you’ll enter the contest to win a Thieftaker t-shirt. (To enter, scroll down the linked page to the entry form.)
But that’s not all the Blog Tour is offering by way of giveaways: My Deadly Destinations post is still up at All Things Urban Fantasy. The post is a tour of 1760s Boston with Ethan Kaille as your tour guide. And if you leave a comment, you will be entered in a contest to win copies of Thieftaker (paperback) and Thieves’ Quarry (hardcover).
Yesterday, Sephira Pryce was interviewed at Bitten By Books, and we started a contest to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card! That contest is still going for another day and a half, so visit the site, and then check out the Rafflecopter link to make sure that get as many entries in the drawing as possible.
Finally, Pat’s Fantasy Hot List has joined me for a giveaway that again includes copies of both books in the Thieftaker Chronicles. Just visit this page and follow the instructions.
So there you go. You might not feel any cooler, but with a few cool posts and a chance to win some prizes that heat might just be a little easier to take. Best of luck!
Today is a very special day on the Summer 2013 Thieves’ Quarry Blog Tour. I am at Bitten By Books for an all-day book launch and giveaway. Actually, I’m not there — Sephira Pryce is. For those of you who don’t know, Sephira is the nemesis of my hero, Ethan Kaille, in the Thieftaker books. She is the most renowned, influential, and successful thieftaker in Boston; she is also ruthless, dangerous, cruel, keenly intelligent, and charmingly alluring. I hope you will stop by to ask her a question or two. Here is the link:
The event at Bitten By Books includes a giveaway for a $50.00 Amazon Gift Card. Here is the rafflecoptor widget that will enable you to enter the contest. You can also access the giveaway at the link above.
I hope you enjoy today’s event and the interview with Sephira. And best of luck in the contest!
